Richard
O’Brien, Director
Prior to founding Improve the World
International and the Center for the Prevention of Genocide,
Richard O’Brien was a university lecturer. He taught history at
the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. and
was named in “Who’s Who in Teaching in America” for his
exemplary teaching. O’Brien also owned and operated a successful vending
and catering company in New York and has guest-lectured at New York
University on business. He holds an M.A. with a concentration in Public
Policy from Georgetown University.
