FOLLOW UP TO CHECK RESULTS |
As the information is disseminated it is important that a series of phone calls
and email go out to confirm that the information has gotten into the right
hands. Without harassing, follow up phone calls should be made at the time,
during the course of the day and over the next few days until the information
sought is ascertained. The strategy session group will meet again to
assess the productivity of the news release and determine if a change in
strategy is necessary or if the crisis procedure has fulfilled its goals.
